Introduction
The Lehmann Pioneers Digital Group (LPDG) is committed to upholding the highest standards in labour and human rights (UDHR, Articles 23 and 24). This policy reflects our commitment to protect and promote the rights of our employees and all stakeholders. We strive to respect and promote labour and human rights in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Scope of application
This policy applies to the entire LPDG at all locations and activities of our company, including all employees, contractors and suppliers.
Objectives
The LPDG undertakes to ensure the following:
The health, safety and well-being of our employees and other stakeholders, including local communities; p>
Proactively recognising and minimising hazards and risks to health and safety;
Respect the rights of employees to form or join a trade union;
Training employees so that they can develop their skills and find more professional fulfilment;
Working hours, public holidays and holiday periods are determined in compliance with local laws and agreements.
We pursue the following goals in the area of human rights:
Prohibit the use of forced and child labour and human trafficking in any form;
Ensuring equal opportunities without discrimination or harassment based on gender, ethnicity, age, skin colour, disability or national origin, sexual orientation, religion, social or marital status or any other legally protected status.
We will monitor our progress in achieving the following targets by 2026:
No accidents at work;
Ensure that 100% of employees receive at least the statutory minimum wage or a wage customary in the industry;
Reduction in average overtime per employee to a maximum of 5 hours per week;
100% of employees undergo occupational safety training;
Increase the proportion of women in management positions to 25%
We regularly communicate this policy to all internal employees via LPDG MS Sharepoint and all external stakeholders via our website https://lpdg.io/ to ensure everyone can access, understand and implement the policy.
Responsibilities and review
Management is responsible for the implementation of this policy. All employees are obliged to support the objectives of this policy. The policy is regularly updated by the management board and any changes are communicated to the affected parties. It is important that they take the time to understand the latest version of the policy and contact People Management with any questions or feedback.
Continuous improvement
We are committed to continuously improving our labour and human rights standards by regularly reviewing and adapting our measures. People Management identifies best practices and tools that the company can utilise to achieve its commitments and goals.
Entry into force
This Labour and Human Rights Policy comes into force on 1 October 2024.
