The Lehmann Pioneers Digital Group (LPDG) is firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety for its employees. This policy reflects our unwavering commitment to protecting and promoting the rights of our employees and all stakeholders.
Scope of Application
This policy applies to the entire LPDG at all locations and activities of our company, including all employees, contractors, and suppliers.
Aim of the Policy
This policy aims to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, to minimize accidents and work-related health risks, and to meet the legally prescribed safety standards.
Responsibilities
Management: It is the responsibility of management to provide the necessary resources to implement this policy and promote a safe working environment.
Supervisors: It is the responsibility of supervisors to ensure that safety regulations are adhered to and that regular training is provided.
Employees: It is the responsibility of all employees to comply with safety regulations and to report any potential hazards or risks immediately.
Training and Awareness
All employees are required to complete annual safety training, covering essential topics such as occupational safety, fire safety, and first aid. Additionally, all new hires must undergo a safety induction before beginning their role. The training courses cover a range of topics, including:
Ergonomic Design: Workstations must be designed according to ergonomic principles to minimize health risks.
Air Quality and Lighting: It is essential to regularly assess and adjust the air quality and lighting in work areas to ensure compliance with established standards.
Cleanliness and tidiness: Work areas must be kept clean and tidy to avoid the risk of tripping and accidents.
As the majority of employment is conducted remotely from the home office, the following points relate only to the additional company premises available for employees to use if necessary.
Emergency Plan: An emergency plan has been developed for the company's available office space, which includes procedures for responding to fire, evacuation, and other emergencies. This plan is subject to regular review and is practiced with employees in attendance.
First Aid Equipment: The company premises are equipped with an adequate supply of first aid equipment, which is subject to regular inspection and maintenance. It is recommended that selected employees who use the premises frequently receive training in first aid.
Accident prevention and reporting
In the event of an accident, injury, or near miss, the incident must be reported and documented without delay. The objective of such reporting is to facilitate the analysis of the incident in order to develop and implement preventive measures that will prevent similar incidents in the future.
Mental Health and Well-Being
The company is dedicated to fostering the mental well-being of its employees. This encompasses the provision of resources for stress management and access to counselling services when necessary.
Responsibilities and review
Management is responsible for implementing this policy. All employees are expected to support the policy's objectives. The policy is updated regularly by management, and any changes are communicated to the relevant parties.
